SIPTAU panels' manufacturing process

The manufacturing process of SIP panels is a long and complicated process. Work culture, qualification, modern technology and product quality are the most important things we can offer our customers. All this can only be achieved by using modern equipment and technology that we have been constantly striving to implement in our production process. We are currently using the latest and most advanced SIP production line in the Baltic States. The SIP production line is designed based on the achievements of manufacturing practice and scientific innovation. It is this combination that has made it possible to ensure the modernity, efficiency, accuracy and reliability of our production line.

Sip panel manufacturing process consists of:
– Polystyrene cutting
– OSB and polyester adhesion
– Compression and drying by means of presses
– Slicing of pre-made SIP boards according to the project of the house
– SIP plate milling
We use only high-quality materials certified in accordance with EU requirements throughout the production process

Polystyrene cutting
The primary stage of production preparation is the cutting of polystyrene according to the technical requirements of the product, i.e. polystyrene thickness and dimensions. Polystyrene cutting is fully automated and executed in 3D format.

Cut to the desired dimensions, polystyrene is glued on both sides with an OSB board. For this purpose, we use the automatic polyurethane adhesive coating line. Technological gluing process includes automatic glue circulation, dosing, vacuuming and temperature maintenance mode. The entire gluing process is controlled by electronics and automation. Work-related disorders are diagnosed automatically. For the SIP panel to be strong and durable and to meet all the qualitative requirements, it is necessary to observe the parameters for the preparation and application of adhesives set by the operator-technologist who manages the process of computer control of the line. Pressing and drying with presses
Glued Sip panels are further transferred to pneumatic presses and locked with special locking mechanisms. The compression pressure and duration are determined by the kind and type of the glue. Used presses ensure perfect staticity of the glued panels until the glue is completely dried.

Sip slabs cutting according to the project of the house
Ready SIP panels are cut to the required sizes and dimensions using a special machine, which allows you to achieve perfect match with pre-prepared product drawings. The mounted fixing mechanisms and guide rail provide high cutting accuracy. The device also has a laser designed to visually control the saw.

SIP panel milling
Prepared according to the technical design of the house, SIP panels are milled in the next step. Grooves are cut in the polystyrene automatically to the appropriate depth and width, so that the Sip panels can be extremely accurately assembled during the house assembly. Proper wall joints and tightness of the house are ensured by precise technological grooves, which are fitted with a connecting gasket (SIP intermediate or wood). Specialized automatic milling machines make it possible to make a very precise groove throughout the length and width of the board.
